Prioritizing need and a thoughtful study of student work and social patterns resulted in a successful upgrade to this academic library. The building opened 35 years ago serving 1,000 students; today, enrollment is at 6,000 and the facility --- which operates eighteen hours a day --- remained up and operating during construction.
